ThePowerArmorGuy Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 was pulling my hair out with this issue and none of these other solutions would change a thing. I finally found the source of the problem and the fix is very simple. Go to (Drive where steam games are saved, usually C drive) C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim, then go to SkyrimLauncher.exe/TESV.exe/skse_loader.exe (whichever you use to launch game but i just did it for all). Right click on the application --> compatibility --> and uncheck the box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'. I know this is an old thread but people are still getting these problems and just wanted to put it out there for the ones who haven't been able to fix the issues with the other solutions Many of my m8s had this issue, and you were right on with the fix.
