Interesting looking mod, I'm downloading it to check it out. I think it'd be great if you could add a follower system. I saw a couple people already suggested a follower system plus extras, but I'd be happy if you could simply extend the current system to followers. There's only a handful of other mods out there that do this (FollowerLivePackage, the new beta for Skyrim Unleashed, and the French mod that SU borrowed the system from) but these are more complex, in another language, or both. A straightforward system with the customization you've already established would be great.

Edit: Here's a follow-up question: if a horse is killed, is it removed from the horse count? Just wanted to confirm.

I'm not sure. I don't actually handle the adding of the values, I just use the values to create the mod. And I'm probably just going to extend the follower system to what I currently have, to keep it "simple".

Land tax or property tax is likely more appropriate. I'll change that.

However, I am trying to keep it pretty simple and I don't have time to add all of the features everyone wants, so for now I'm just going to extend it to followers and the other features I noted in the sticky. I'm working on another project right now and I only have so much time, plus my free time in general will become less and less soon. But like I said, I'm trying to keep it pretty simple.

So THIS is what you were doing? Very cool. I like it. Haven't used it, yet, but great idea. I think the best way to improve it beyond the ideas you already listed would be to make it so different houses/horses (and followers, if included) cost different amounts. If done, then the Hearthfires homes, if included, should change cost based on the number of rooms.

I'll definitely be giving this a shot.

I'll definitely try that. Quick question: Does adding a new keyword cause compatibility issues if something else affects the thing you added a keyword to? Just a keyword.

I'll be done with that in a second, I just had to rename all the files inside the mod itself too, which takes a while...

It'll also help people find the mod.

Does anyone know of any other tax mods? I can't seem to find any, and if I do I'd like to see how they did it.
