Help! Invisible objects blocking path making it impossible to fini

path in the storage room to clear out the spiders because there is an invisible object blocking me. I have had this problem before but there was always a way around the object but I have tried everything and it is like a wall. I stopped using a bunch of mods to see if it had any effect on it but nothing so far...ugh....need help! Please!

Well, I deleted that game and restarted as a Dalish mage (thanks to the dalish mage mod)...which is ok for now but one day I will want to play a circle mage...but if the path is always blocked there I can never be one...see the dilemma?

 

Anyway, cheers for any help...

the mod Advanced Tactics is known to cause that issue. If you've got that mod installed, you might try this- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=852

 

Dunno if it works or not, since I've never run that mod. But there it is, friend. :wink:

 

I don't think I have that mod installed...hmm. This is depressing...never being able to run a tower mage again.... :confused:

I am not the only one...how lifting...

 

Man.. what am I doing wrong? I checked all these three solutions too.. but these don't work. I even tried commands and restarting.. It's freaking fustrating, as my mage in his origins story can't enter that spider den. It even occured before I downloaded the Advanced Tactics fix. I assume it's the bug of 1.3? I downloaded both AT fix and AT, hoping it would work but apparently it doesn't work..

 

Im disapointed by the "invisable walls" bugs.

When ever i create a mage and try to enter the storeroom to kill spiders i cant move due to a wall blocking the entranceway!. I used the fix, but doersnt work for me, even going back to a past save before i entered.

 

PLEASE fix this asap!

Its got to be a mod thats causing it, as I've seen the issue pop up well before patch 1.03 was released. I've also played the tower and never had an issue with it.

What I'd recommend doing, is deactivate any of your mods that arent armor or weapons (gear). Start up a new character. Play it until you can get past the tower, and then reactivate your mods. Give that a try and see if it works.

By unchecking the dazip in modmanager for Return to the Korcori Wilds solved problem for me.

my understanding is that every time a new area is "discovered", there is usually some kinda "camera prop" or something related to that, that appears in the map initially, but is supposed to make its way elsewhere out of sight and mind, apparently when this does not happen, it creates these invisible objects that can leave you stuck like chuck with no luck screamin "fk".

 

advanced tactics mod, as well as winter forge seem to share a function or resources that taps into this camera prop schematic somehow, and having them Both installed at once can cause this to appear

 

in my case, i removed winter forge and the problem was completely resolved

 

you should Try, disabling either AT or WF for Trouble shootin only, to see if it solves it

you will ONLY see if it works in NEW areas that you have not explored (or loaded in game) before, the ones that are currently there are permanent im afraid

 

Dwolfs link here may resolve the issue, in my case i had no such luck, i think it solves the issue only if advanced tactics has the.. "load priority" over any other mod that may cause this conflict..so its just a huge mess haha

 

try what i said, and let us know what happens!
