Sky UI - Your Papyrus INI settings are invalid.

Everything was working fine when I first got the game, then this started to happen. When using Sky UI it takes about 5 seconds for my inventory to come up and that warning message about my Papyrus INI settings comes up. I also can't use MCM without Sky UI and when I am using it, MCM shows up blank with 2 arrows at the top and bottom.

I tried reinstalling my game, reinstalling my mods, running the game without any mods but it still doesn't work... Help :sad:

These are my Skyrim_default.ini settings.

Try what soupdragon said, and if you still get the message, try without some of those Papyrus settings. For example, I only have these:

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=0
bEnableTrace=0
bLoadDebugInformation=0

Just make a backup first in case it doesn't help. I've also read some pretty mixed things about iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes, mostly bad though. Here's one quote, which is from the Creation Kit website under Papyrus .INI settings:

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes

This is the maximum amount of memory the VM will allocate in total for stack frames. If an allocation would push memory usage over this limit, the VM will instead wait for more memory to be freed. Increasing this value may improve performance in high-stress situations with lots of scripts running, but will use more memory. Note that it is possible to exceed this value temporarily while loading a save game due to slightly different allocation ordering.

Max: 2147483647 (2GB)

Default: 76800 (75kB)

WARNING: increasing iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes to values much larger than default can cause stack thrashing (stack buffer overflows), intermittent game stuttering, erratic game behavior and CTDs. Stack thrashing will produce stack dumps in the Papyrus log, similar to the example below. The dumps can be very large if many scripts are running, producing a very large log file.

If you're looking for game stability and better RAM management, I recommend the SKSE memory patch and ENBoost. They've been instrumental in my game's stability.

Edit: Another thing: you said your .ini file was in the actual saves folder? It's supposed to be in the folder I mentioned. If it got moved there, it doesn't get re-created unless you use the Steam launcher for the game first. Move that and SkyrimPrefs.ini back to C:\(User)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim.
