Russia2012 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 What does portals and room bounds do and what happens if I decided not to set them? Currently I have been designing a mod where I have a bunch of large room connected to a bunch of long corridors. I was curious how portals and bound would effect my dungeons if I did not set them. I understand this effects how the dungoens renders. If my room are well spaced does this mean that for the most part this step might not be necessary? jet4571 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Nothing happens if you do not set them but in a large interior that's heavily decorated you will have performance issues or those with minimum specs will. A normal house or inn sized interior doesn't need them but twice that and it is a good idea to do so. It's not hard to set them up so you may as well do it.
