Sneak Tools and Face Masks of Skyrim

Does anyone know how I can add the mod Face Masks of Skyrim ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33391/? ) to this Sneak Tools mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19447/? ) so I can enchant those face masks with the Identity-Concealing enchantment? Or vice versa?

It would be nice to have this enchant on those mask that actually cover my face, rather than just a hood where I can still see my whole face.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, I must have written my OP to sound like I want to merge the mods. That's not what I want to do, because that doesn't help/do/fix what I would like to.

I need the Sneak Tools mod to be able to enchant the Face Masks of Skyrim's face masks. Right now the sneak tools only allows the Identity Concealing enchantment to be placed on hoods which take up your head/hair slot. The face masks take up another slot (I'm not sure which slot because I can't seem to open the Face Masks of Skyrim mod in the CK, it keeps crashing. I will check with the mod author to find out).

I opened the Sneak Tools mod in the CK and checked the enchantment, but it doesn't let me edit it to add another enchant slot. It's the enchantment I am trying to change or add an extra slot for an enchantment to it so I can enchant the face masks with Identity Concealing.

Did I write that explanation out well enough this time? I know sometimes I'm a bit vague.

No insight from anyone huh? Well I guess I'll try YouTubing enchantments and the "how to" in CK. Maybe I'll find something to help so I can edit the Sneak Tools enchantment.

I don't think there's a mod that does it. But basically what you would have to do is open up Sneak Tools in the CK and see which slot the enchantment requires. Then you have to edit the meshes of the face masks (and make the corresponding changes in the CK) to the slot that the enchantment needs. Or if it is possible, then edit the enchantment itself so that it works with the face mask slots. I don't usually work with enchantments though, so I'm not sure how one would do that. If you wanted to do the first version, then a quick google search will provide you with a few tutorials.

(Also I'm sorry if any of that was vague or incoherent. It's pretty late here, haha)

P.S. To open the Face Masks mod, you need to load the Dragonborn DLC with it (but have Face Masks set as active).

I'm not personally familiar with the mods in question, but yes, you will need to edit the Enchantment itself, or more properly the mod in which the enchantment is found. To do that, you will most likely have to merge the two mods, unless the facemasks use an "ArmorType" keyword from a .esm on which the mod that contains the enchantment is already dependent (one found in vanilla, or DB, etc).

In the ENCH entry for the enchantment you want to change, there is a field with a dropdown list called "Worn Restrictions". The item that shows in that space is a formlist made up of keywords.

Just add the "ArmorType" or "ClothingType" keyword for the masks to that formlist and save, everything should work just fine.

If for some reason the facemasks don't use an armortype or clothingtype keyword (or some other unique keyword for the masks) you will also need to add the same keyword to each of the masks as well.

AFAIK it's not enough that the keywords have the same name, they need the same hex code as well, meaning you can't just add a new keyword with the same name to one mod and have the mods work together correctly. Each item has to reference the same keyword (in the same .esp or .esm).

Face Masks of Skyrim has an optional file that adds the functionality you are requesting. It's the last optional file in the list.

Ooh my goodness, I didn't even see this down there. Wow. I always looks at all the optional files too. Too much on my mind I guess and missed it. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks to the others to on CK and enchantments. I did do/try some of what was suggested, but Sneak Tools has it's own made "keyword" and enchantment stuff, etc; and it wasn't letting me edit it. No worries now though, now that nhackett pointed out that compatibility file.

Thanks everyone.
