Werewolf selective NPC hostility

I have been playing a Werewolf character which I am enjoying a lot but I found an interesting storyline issue. All of the members of the Companions faction are werewolves as well yet they all go nuts and attack you when you turn into a werewolf i front of them. Not very storyline friendly.Could someone come up with a work around to this problem?

Mods or no mods, I have NEVER been able to freely transform around Farkas, Vilkas or Aela without them becoming hostile UNLESS they were active followers. Anyone who says they have/can is LYING or has a mod/console command unknown to me that allows it.

Well I must be a dirty liar then.

I am the creator of a werewolf mod. At one point I was testing some pieces of it on a save in Jorvaskr. I transformed dozens of times in full view of multiple Companions, both Circle and non, without any complications.

However I have a guess. The Circle members were orifinally members of the Whiterun Guard faction. I suspect it is this affiliation that caises them to become hostile to werewolves. Membership in that faction was the source of a whole number of bugs for users, sometimes breaking the Companions questline completely. I would not be surprised if some version of the USKP removed the Circle from that faction.

Edit: Question: wolf from them or a mod? Don't know if matters but something to think about. If already a wolf from moonlight mod, maybe your not recognized as a proper one, like a vanilla vampire? I think being companion is the only way your technically supposed to be able to be a wolf. Maybe in a earlier version of some mod its not working right or something? I know in moonlight you will prob get attacked by a npc event wolf or if you drank looted blood from such a one long before you finish quest for companions.

Looks a bit like a healing potion.

The only time time a companion freaked on me was when I mauled him repeatedly because he kind of, sort of, looked like a bandit and thought he was npc enemy in a mess of them.

I think how my werewolf mod works to allow me to remove hostility from npcs with customization ring, is it makes so they don't know I'm a werewolf...like followers that are not programed to know.

Why? Because they tell me I'm naked. They are being tricked into just seeing a buck nude nord guy streaking around skyrim slapping people to death like a lunatic (pun intended).

I don't know if I like this, I don't want them to freak because I guess my other mod moonlight causes me to get a brief warning and turn into a wolf before I can get in my house or out of town. Forcing me to kill the guards and restore a save, between 2 characters already have over 200 saves as its numbered. If I remembered or auto saved fine though.

Anyway would be nice if they could see it as it is and not freak with a mod. Less embarrassing (pun intended)...yet it works so I'm not really complaining, just something I notice.

That would make sense for the Howl of Terror, maybe. Companions are immune to its effects but maybe they still perceive it as hostile. There's no reason they would turn hostile when using Howl of Brotherhood or Scent of Blood, though.
