There is no Morrowind multiplayer. There has never been Morrowind multiplayer. Considering that it is absolutely impossible to implement a multiplayer mode for Morrowind, there never will be any kind of Morrowind multiplayer. If you see a link, video, or tutorial showing Morrowind multiplayer, it is fake. If a friend, girlfriend/boyfriend, husband/wife, or guy down the pub tells you there is a way to make Morrowind multiplayer, he/she/it is lying to you. It doesn't matter how many threads you see online saying that the author has totally been told by a trusted friend's dad's work colleague, who totally knows how to get a Morrowind MP to work, that it is possible. It isn't. It never will be.

Just in case you missed it, Morrowind multiplayer will never, ever happen.

This is completely wrong, outdated information. Morrowind Multiplayer servers are presently up and running. You can go get the code yourself to run your own server if you want:

There's also a locked and stickied thread on this forum with similar completely incorrect information that should just be relegated to an archive.
