Mattiewagg
Slap a (bad) paper background on, darken the blade and it's almost like a whole new piece of art (not): Just a quick fix of the simple shortsword. http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b630/Matthiaswagg/Shortsword-Simple_2_zps1edd0be2.png Edited November 3, 2014 by Matthiaswagg
BlackRoseOfThorns
Just finished some concept art for a static. It's the Dwarven communication device given to you in Covert Deductions. CovertDeductions-DwemerCube_4:I'm not really that happy with this one, especially the material of the cube, which looks horrendous. But it gets the job done for killerbite, in this case. It likely won't be improved since it doesn't have much more use. http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b630/Matthiaswagg/CovertDeductions-DwemerCube_4_zps6c59f56e.png And BlackRoseOfThorns, I'm going to be doing some more random concept art to get my skills to a point where they don't look like childish cartoons, so I'll try out your method soon! Actually as a concept art I like your cube more then the sword. It gets the job done, I can clearly see the dimensions and get the feel of it. Even the dirty scratches have it's charm. deathbymanga
I always end up drawing in technical format when i design stuff because it is easier for my mind to grasp how big it is. I have a huge problem with visualizing and judging distances

Thanks again. And the sword is rather cartoonish and doesn't do much for dimensions, I agree. One of the issues with it. So I'm working on that.
