Quick Overview:

As of 10.30.2014 I am running ENB RealVision + 92 other mods @ 2560x1600 and 4k-2k textures with an average 24-45fps. It runs stable and doesn't crash! I am able to Save and Load game files without experiencing freezes or crashes. I am currently in the process of tweaking ENB's RealVision Effects settings to help optimize the game and increase frame rate. The quality is unbelievable and I would like to thank MODDERS :pirate:  COMUNITY   AND TESTERS :ninja:    :ermm: for their hard work in making Skyrim look so insanely pretty.

I should mention that I am playing Skyrim for the first time and I have not completed it yet . I am only starting to wander around the first two towns and will keep everyone updated on the performance and issues as I go along.

So, the 92 mods that I am currently ruining are there to help enhance the experience. The mods to mentions is of course the power hungry ENB; Interesting NPCs; SkyUI; Skyrim Immersive Creatures; Realistic Needs and Diseases; Fire Hurts; Smoking Torches; Big Trees; 83Willows 101BUGs; Wearable Lanterns; Realistic Force and many many more awesome mods as well as graphic overhauls and high resolution textures. You will find the full list of mods and plugins in the link I provided below.

I would also like to mention that I tweaked major mods that you can access in the game's menu. For example in Realistic Needs and Diseases I reduced everything by half so that I could still enjoy 'vanilla' Skyrim and not worry so much about Food, Water or Diseases. In Deadly Dragons, I changed the difficulty level to master in order to "make dragons the feared & powerful creatures they supposedly are". So like those mods are there for a challenge and add that extra quality, but don't overwhelm you or the game experience! Also everything in my list of mods is there to help make game better. I assure you, there are no bad mods!

Issues as of 10.31.14:

:nuke: DO NOT USE SAVEINI COMMAND IN THE GAME'S CONSOLE :nuke:

This will mess up your ini files and you will get RED Skyrim Logo and the game will crash on you. :ninja:

- if you are trying to lower UGrids from 7 to 5 - DO NOT follow my mistake and use SAVEINI in the game's console. I didn't know what I was in for, but it took me hours of frustrating work to fix the game and restore everything back to normal. I cannot imagine what I would do if I had to re-install the game + all the mods (10.2GBs) hadn't I fix the issue. IT IS NOT EASY FIX! :pinch:

There are instructions on how to change UGrids without using saveini command. Should be something like (Load in window mode > load the save file > change UGrid in the console > Alt+Tab > change it in the Skyrim.ini > Alt+Tab > refreshini > save the game > enjoy).

NOTE: Anything above uGrid 7, the game crashes! I tested with 9 and 13 LOL no chance - Unless you got supercomputer powered by Large Hadron Collider  I use 7.

- found some incompatible patches and mods. I attached 4 screenshots with all the mods and plugins in the Nexus Mod Manger. You'll be able to see which ones I disabled!

- Climates of Tamriel + ENB RealVision:

When rain kicks in, my fps drops to about 13-28. First thing, disabled ENB RealVison "Effects" (In game, Shift+Enter -> Effects -> check mark) the game never dropped bellow 60fps. Started playing with the ENB's settings. The one that helped the most was section "RAIN" option "ENABLE" (Check it Off). You get slightly less processed rain but fps boost is worth it

(15-20fps boost during bad weather). Do it!

- Textures:

@ 2560x1600, 4k-2k textures is the way to go. I tried 1024px textures and I didn't see much if any fps increase (maybe 1-2fps? :ermm: ). However, textures where visibly reduced in quality and looked close to being pixelated

- Bigger Trees Mod:

tried small...didn't see much fps boost. So defiantly go for Big trees shitz insane!

After though:

If you are installing ENB RealVision, make sure to follow every single step here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/? before adding any additional mods!!!

Why? because later on you will have to add SKSEs and things will get complicated. So, ENB RealVision and then everything else!

Hope this helps some brave souls  logging off for now...will update soon

UPDATE:

After visiting Falkreath and especially the area of South Shriekwind Bastion (See Screenshot) the game freezes after 5-8min of playing. The save files don't work or load if saved in that specific area. I disabled additional mod betterinns.esp because it was causing issue in Falkreath inn, but it still came down to ENB Realvision Effects section. It is simply to much @ 2560x1600. I had no choice but to disable them.

Disabling ENB RealVision Effects has made the game run smooth and without issues. As of right now, I got 99 plugins + s*** tone of 4k texture mods running without any hassle. But, I will have to enjoy the game without the shiny polish of ENB until I find a way to make it work. They game still looks unbelievably impressive without it though!

I am looking to upgrade from SLI GTX 680 4gb to a single card but not GTX 980. My 680s are over performing single 980. I need more juice and waiting for 980ti or whatever else they come up with that is drastically better.

If anyone of you is having a solution, recommendations, or questions post it here!
