LE Androgynous Male Presets

So I've looked hard and I can't find any males without exaggerated features.

I'm not looking for the embodiment of masculinity with a massive jaw capable of destroying worlds, but rather the male equivalent of the female characters beloved by the nexus.

 

Milkdrinker's Male Textures for the SoS default body is a great start when paired with FemFeet Redesigned and CMO, but I'd like to see what's possible with the full power of ECM and Racemenu for those up to the challenge.

 

I'd love some recommendations or presets, but think along the lines of Andrej Pejic, Edward Vigiletti, or Square's new lead main character.

I've found it so hard to do something like this...I use RaceMenu, but I'm terrible at it. Following this while I search the Nexus for any potential leads.

hmm let me see... there's http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38301/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5941/? but i don't have any thing for argonian faces.then theres http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2488/? but its been a long time since they last updated that mods files and dosent relay fix that much on beast races.

Enhanced Character Edit has better capabilities of making androgynous males due to the feature of morphing the wireframe. You can make a very anime-esgue pretty boy through it. However, with patience you'll see RaceMenu hasthis feature available as well. You can preview it in RaceMenu but it is currently non-functional (last I checked). I like race menu over ECE for one reason: The way you move through the different options. The scroll that ECE offers is finicky just as vanilla character customization is. Racemenu just is far less clunky. It is the difference of vanilla menu versus SkyUi for me. I was able to make a very lovely androgynous male (he's my avatar). I wish the body was also not so buff/more flat. However I am very happy with the face. I use: RaceMenu, ApachiiSkyHair Male pack, Battle Hardened Warpaints, Brows, Superior Lore-Friendly Hair, The Eyes of Beauty, Better Males (Smooth Male Body - textures for Better Males - SOS - Body Normal Map, SOS, Fine Face Textures for men, High Res Face Maps for Men by Geonox, High Resolution Scars, Smile in HD, XCE - Xenius Character Enhancement (Dawnguard/Warpaint and Dirt [Which is largely overwritten by the rest]), Dragonborn Mages Robes, The Well Dressed Mage( yum).

 

It does take some know-how to understand what install order/what to overwrite in order to achieve your desired outcome. It seems like a lot but in order to find my happy place I ended up using what seems to be overlapping elements. It's just how I chose to overwrite that helped me obtain the results. Know the difference between maps and textures. Know that they offer different assets to the overall look. :smile:

I can make some very feminine men with Racemenu. As far as creating usable presets for others though, I wouldn't be sure how to make them.

 

This is my most recent character, though I've recently shortened the length of his chin a bit while trying to make it a bit less pointed. He's a Breton, but I've played with the Dunmer slider so he has a more angular face and dunmer-shaped ears.

My problem comes in finding decent hairstyles for men. Not so wild about most of the choices in the SkyHair mod...

I've stopped using ApachiiSkyhair for my male hairs. I've actually been trying to completely remove Apachii from my game recently...

Yeah, I too am fed up with the largely female mods, and the fact that female has male in it so searching is literally impossible also paired with that some modders although good at creating, nearly always use the wrong tags.
