Need weight painter and texturer for a long-requested armor!

I need some help!

 

I've finally finished modeling a version of Sesshomaru's kimono. I've seen it requested a million times, but no one's ever made it.

 

I took Sesshomaru's model from a playstation 2 video game, and edited it a little bit (tried to make it prettier), so it's not the best model around, not to mention it IS the first model I've EVER made with blender....

 

I tried working with seams, tried lots of thinsgs. The UV map for the kimono part came out perfectly, I just suck at textures... But the UV map for the armor was just everywhere... Not a single triangle touching another triangle, so just for testing purposed, I selected all triangles that would be the same color and through them in a pile, and I personally don't think it would look bad if I was good at making textures.

 

Also, it doesn't stay on the body... AT ALL.... So I guess I need weight paint help too!

 

I have both a skyrim ready nif and a blend file that I made right before I added the skeleton to the armor for exporting.

 

Here is what I ended up with when I tested it...
