Hellbleeder Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 I have always felt that the Lone Wanderer was kinda cold to just about anyone he meets. So I started making a mod that allows players to become closer to the game's characters, as a friend or as a lover. I don't mean to make another pornographic mod, just something that makes the game feel a little more personal, make it live up to the role-playing idea, immerse the player in the Capital Wasteland. What do you think? Are there any characters you would like to get closer to? (Make you actually sad when any follower other than Dogmeat dies) Can you help me in any way? Binhthuy Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 Fallout seems to go out of its way to be a cold game. Other than Oasis, the landscapes are bleak and so are most of the realtionships. That was a choice that the devs made and I can understand why they did it. I'd love to see more possibilities for forming relationships that have more depth than kill/not kill although I suspect that the scripting to make that convincing will be a tall order. Good luck! But it's turning out to be quite easy, just takes a lot of work. Through my eyes so far, the only problem is the lack of voice acting, which is something that may never happen, so the mod will be mute unless Bethesda chips in with the voice actors or any fellow player that can imitate Fallout voices decides to help me, but we all know that the audio wouldn't meet Bethesda's quality. gromulos Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 my preferences for a male character would be in order of how I usually meet them in game: Lucy West, Jenny Stahl, Moira, Sarah Lyons, Red and Kimba from big town, Branchtender Maple, Jessica from Republic of Dave, Lana Danvers or Trinni from RIvet City, Simone Cameron from temple of the union, and Sonora Cruz. Ex.: NPC - But how does this work? I've never had a boyfriend before. PC - Me neither/I used to date Amata/I was quite the ladiesman back in the vault.Stuff like that. I'll also add in options for the LW's physique.I'm not totally sure about this though, I may not even put this in the game.
