CTDS When loading saves at random (usually when loading a save quickly several times) or in combat saves. [Answers appreciated<3 =)]

Hi guys. so right now I've been doing a lot of modding & I'm pretty satisfied with the end result but now when I've started playing as my dark elf destruction Mage I've gotten random ctds when loading saves that are usually in combat saves or just saves that have been loaded to quickly to many times. But I never had this with an older load-order so I was just curious if anyone here knew what could be causing it by taking a look at my load-order and say if there's anything fishy? http://pastebin.com/6waRA3i9 <------- Load-order.

The CTD probably comes from pushing your system over the memory limit. With more mods comes more AI processing, more scripts, more textures, etc. and using either the QuickLoad or Load from the pause menu after you have already been playing won't clear out memory or completely refresh the game data. So the end result is a mix of data from before the load and from the save file, doing that repeatedly is just going to make a bigger mess of memory. If you reload a save without completely exiting and restarting the game you're playing with fire. More importantly long before you hit the CTD problem you will have created a corrupted game session which will then get stored into any future saves you make with that character.

 

If you die or just want to reload a previous game, always quit the game completely and then restart if you want a completely stable game.

Yes, quit to desktop and restart the game then from the main menu you can either use Continue or Load. It's the only safe way to reload a game.

No, returning to the main menu still leaves some game data loaded in memory. Returning to the main menu does seem to be better than simply loading directly from a running game, but it's still not as good as exiting all the way to the desktop. That's why it's so much faster to load a saved game from there than restarting the game. The eventual price you pay for the convenience of a fast reload is a corrupted game.
