The Uprising

Dawn was breaking in the fair city of Ebonheart. Augusta Honoria Austine turned in her bed at the barracks. Hearing loud, excited speech and the clunk of armored footsteps, the Imperial came awake. She pushed her hair back, and reached for her spear, Lady Death. Picking up the pack of her belongings, Augusta opened the door of the empy barracks, fitting her cuirass on as she went. The footsteps grew louder.

Whats going on... she thought groggilly.

Garret Concord sat on the roof of the tavern, deciding on who would be his next target. Not many nobles in Ebonheart."Hmph",he said, looking toward a bustle of soilders,"Quite an odd thing..Better check it out!"Garret jumped back into the makeshift trapdoor he had made earlier to his inn room.He quickly donned some Imperial Steel armor, and fell inline behind the troos outside, listening to thier conversations.

Then a mysterious Dark Elf came flying out of the local tavern and said a rude word in Elvish and saw a big garrison of troops run out the gate and decided to go back in the tavern and finish the fight with the Nord that made fun of him and heeded his fathers warning."never investigate whats going on when a bunch of troops run past you."

Augusta stopped a running soldier by extending her hand. She still stood in the doorway.

"What is the trouble Soldier of the Empire?" she asked smoothly. The young man was visibly excited. "There has been a revolt! We will put these Dunmer in their place!" Augusta took in the information. She knew that the soldier would not have been told anything else. Now nodding, she made a fist and crossed her arm over her chest. "For the Empire!" said she. "For the Empire!" said the soldier, and ran off down the corridor.

"I am Augusta Honoria Austine. Greetings Thomas." She spoke hurridly, while fastening gauntlets to her amrs. "I regret that I cannot tire you with formalities just yet. It appears sir, that we are under siege!" With that Augusta had finished with her armor and looked up at the Imperial before her.
