Anyway, here's what happened: The Short Story: Most of the NPCs in Riften are standing around, doing nothing. And I cannot look around using the mouse. The Long Story: I was chilling in Whiterun. I rode a carriage to Riften. I was attacked by a dragon but I killed it. I went in Riften, to the Bee and Barb to get some rest for the night. Strangely, there were about 20 to 30 NPCs just standing around in the Bee and Barb, none of them moving, but animations were functional. I spoke to one NPC who I asked "Whistle, whistle, or a whistle?" (That's how you acquire the ability to summon horses with the mod "Convenient Horses.") My character started to whistle but stopped, and went back and forth between the animations until I stopped it by drawing and sheathing my weapon. I spoke to the inkeeper/bartender. I requested a room for the night but no money was removed from my inventory and the inkeeper did not show me my room. All the beds were taken so I went to Haelga's Bunkhouse, where basically the same thing happened. I went outside and just waited til morning. I went inside the Temple of Mara, spoke to the priest, acquired the amulet of mara, and then, all at once, the gold was removed for the inns, the gold was removed for the amulet, I recieved the amulet, and I started to do that "whistle" thing. And now, moving my mouse does nothing unless I am in a menu. If I use the Xbox Controller, everything works fine, but I can't look around with the mouse. Anyone know how to fix? (I have tried deleting skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, verifying game integrity, and toggling xbox controller support.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
