Karibdyss
HEY THERE!!!! I have been animating models for about half a year. I really love it, but I want to see these bad boys in action. And since most of these models are from Skyrim lore... I was wondering how would one go about adding their own custom models as enemies in Skyrim. Im currently working on a warg and a 4 legged dragon and would love to actually face these beasts. Does anyone know how to add their creatures? firepower02
Those are really nice! Have you weightpainted them to a skeleton?
Karibdyss
Yeah!! I already made standard movement animations for it already. I'm definitely not the best at animating but I love doing it. Now I want to actually fight them!!! :D
firepower02
You wieightpainted your mesh to a dragon skeleton? What did you actually do? Made a new mesh or made a new animation. I'm a bit confused, and what did you want to see in game? The dragon or the animation for the dragon?

Karibdyss
I made a new skeleton of a 4 legged skyrim dragon with animations. Is it possible to add a entirely new creature? I've seen this video and thought that it would be possible. I'm definitely willing to do all the coding for it... I just want to know the bascis (if it's possible) :/
icecreamassassin
Yes, adding creatures is a fairly simple process once you have a mesh for the creature with textures and a skeleton NIF as well. Do you have both of these? If so, it's as easy setting up a custom race which defines the skeleton model, an armor addon which defines the skin, and the armor itself which applies the skin. Then you create an NPC and load up the armor on the skin entry and the custom race type on the race selection. That's it other than stating out the NPC itself. firepower02
This is definitely interesting, and very much possible since you already have the mesh, the skeleton, and the animations. Can you send them to me, so I can test them too? Another thing, do you have the character behavior file for it?
