Combine99 Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) You know that message you get when you recruit an animal companion that says something like " ______ is now following". Well it shows up every time I talk to the companion I made. The real problem is that its screwing up the follow command. Since I pretty much re-recruit my follower every time I talk to him there isn't a chance to tell them to "follow me". I can dismiss, trade with, and tell him to wait but I cant get him to follow me after that, even if I dismiss him he's still waiting to be told to follow when I recruit him again. When I click on him to tell him to follow me the notice comes up saying " ______ is now following", and then it proceeds directly to the normal dialogue menu and skips the follow prompt so the companion stays in wait mode. I used the advanced animal follower tutorial by Darkfox127 to create this follower and I really dont know what went wrong. On a side note I set my follower to be aggressive and foolhardy but every time I get into a fight with the Whiterun guards he runs away, why is this?
