Professional Quality M60 with Mods

Just a formal request for someone to make a professional quality M60 Machine Gun Model, which I think would be great to have the M145 scope for a sight mod, and maybe a bipod folded up for extra detail (which could be a mod in itself that could add stability or something). I just haven't seen a top-quality M60 out there yet. If anyone would like to take on this project in the future I would, as well as many New Vegas fans I'm sure, absolutely appreciate the heck out of it! Thanks in advance!

Thanks Flame, I have tried that one ... it was OK ... the model and texture weren't bad, but there are some invisible parts to the gun at certain angles and I would prefer better quality sound files, the two sounds that it came with left a lot to be desired. Also, specifically having the m145 scope mod on the M60 would be great as the m145 is a machine gun optic ... I've always had an affinity for the 60. I would love to have the skill to try to model this bad boy on my own, but I am not very artistically inclined in that way.

*edit: however the world model looks fricken bad ass

Millenia actually did a really good weapon tutorial if you do want to try making it yourself:

If you want to replace the sound file it is \Sound\fx\wpn\M60\m249-1.wav
so it's easy to replace it with any .wav file you want to use instead.

You could also play around with the M60 model I previously linked to you and see if you could mount a m145 scope from another weapon mod to it (There are probably plenty of tutorials to detail how to do it.)

Here are some of the tools (the links are to the best version of the tool for modding FNV as some of the new ones don't have all the plugins)

Nifskope: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope

3DS Max (Free for students/educators - get 2012): http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/3ds-max
3DS Max nif importer: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5622/?

or you can use blender instead of 3DS Max as it is free to everyone:

GIMP can be used instead of photoshop (I don't have a free link to photoshop):
http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/14920/?
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2367/?

FNVEdit:

GECK:

Hope this helps :)
