Requesting a Kind Modder to Make Small Edits on a Castle Mod for Me

So I've been on the hunt for a home and found the perfect castle, only its mod author has ceased working on it. It is the "Thorn Vale Keep" mod by shadowdef on the Nexus.

The mod author hasn't released any updates in a long, long time. He hasn't responded to any queries on his progress, and hasn't been active on the Nexus either, so I don't think he will mind if someone were to add some finishing touches on his mod for a private request. I've messaged him several times over the months but he hasn't replied.

I've tried working on it myself, but have failed miserably due to my amateur modding skills.

There are only a few things that need tweaking, as the cells and areas are pretty much finished. PM me if you are up for the task, and I will give you the details, plus I will praise your name forever!

the authors last comment states he is working on it, sure that was a year ago, but that was his last comment. which means no we can do nothing for you sorry. unless he says "yeah go ahead" we can do nothing to his mod. you want changes you will have to do them yourself.

His ending comment is relating to the Island, which is his newest version of the mod. I'm using an obsolete version without the island. Besides, it's a private agreement and won't be redistributed, so I think it will be ok. If he were to reply to a message or make a post asking me not to, I will happily oblige. I'm just concerned as it looks like it's going to be another abandoned masterpiece.

I think that what you're asking isn't allowed on the site because of what almost everyone above said. Not to mention the fact that if someone DOESN'T respond to someone, usually you take that as a NO and not a yes.

But since you're so determined: http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials

It is literally the best step-by-step you could possibly need to do anything with Creation Kit. Possibly the best tutorial I've seen for any program, none-the-less.
