NickYez
Hi, I'm making a standalone follower with a custom RaceMenu head, but whatever I do the head reverts to the default Nord face in-game. I followed every tutorial there is, every head .nif in my meshes folder has the custom head in Nifskope, and it still keeps happening. I must be missing something but I'm completely clueless. Every other headpart works as it should. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance
Demonikone
Here is an easier way :P using RACEMENU and alot less messing about with other programs.... 1 :Create your "npc" as if it was a player, you can even save the preset incase u wanna change it later2 :Start the game using the desire NPC as ur player char and open console using ~ button3 :Click you char so it is Selected by Console4 :Type SPF "NPCNAMEHERE" and push enter5 :Open CK and select data files etc etc6 :Open the NPC's char infomation window thingy7 :Go acros to the Char's apperance tabe ( second to last I THINK if i remember correctly )8 :Click the "import" button and select the filename.npc file in the directory9 : refine any slight details you may wish to change10 : Save the esp ;) a little easier that using nifscope and blah blah all that crap Hope that helps :) good luck in your modding

I don't think this works with the Racemenu sliders, only the Vanilla ones.

NickYez
I finally fixed it doing the following: - In the CK I set all the Headparts of the actor to the default ones of my exported racemenu head except for the hair (I had followed a tutorial making custom headparts)- Export face again with crtl+f4- Used Nifmerge to merge the racemenu head with the exported CK head- Fixed all the texture paths in Nifmerge to my custom actor folders It seems like the mistake lied in assigning all the custom headparts to the follower and exporting it like this. Thanks for your help, Demonikone
