I, too, was getting lag with the newest version when installing mods and clicking them up into queue so I had to do what DuskDweller said, which is to reinstall the program.

I can confirm that completely unistalling NMM (including deleting the registry if it does anything to get rid of the lag) and reinstall. The whole lag problem is gone.

I am having lots of issues with the new NMM. It was fine until the recent update. Very laggy, install progress bar wont appear, NMM says it has installed mods it hasnt. Green check mark never appears to signal complete install (as it shouldnt, because the install isnt completing, even when it says it has.) this issue is happening with the new warzones version. also, i tried installing a couple other mods and it said they were installed with the green check mark too, and then i went in my data folder and noticed that they hadnt been installed either. please fix asap. NMMs bug testers should really not release a build until it works.

You are NMM's bug testers...

NMMs bug testers should really not release a build until it works.

Just wanted to pop back on here real quick and politely point out that it is clearly stated everywhere that NMM is in a beta state and to expect bugs. Be patient, find a work around yourself, help the developers or go find another program. It's as simple as that. There is no need to be negative or harsh and maybe instead of just posting all the issues you're having, maybe post a more in depth version of your issues to maybe help the devs or someone else that might be having similar problems?

I'm totally not trying to be a jerk or start a flame post or anything like that. I just get irked about all the negativity, rudeness and overall attitude that exists on the internet (oh and we can't forget the expectations in the modding community that mod authors should bow down to mod users hahaha  ) So yeah, Obeyomega, chill a little bit dude. Enjoy the little things in life...I guarantee there are way more things to be all twerked about in life then a couple little issues with NMM.  lol

Oh and you could always do what I did....go back to a previous version until the issues are corrected because I'm SURE the developers are hard at work trying to correct them. Also, think about how many people are using this program right this very moment and then think about how many developers there? Same with the Nexus sites and everything else on the internet. Brain melting, I know, right? lol Anyway, ./end rant lol Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings or anything, not my intent oh and I hope this post isn't against the Nexus rules or anything.....I haven't read them in like forever dude. lol Peace out folks.

Update on my last post, that little bit of random lag I got when installing mods is gone after installing 0.53.2. Works perfectly again.

Yay!! You guys are awesome! Whatever you did with version 53.2 fixed it! lol My green check marks are showing, the mods are installing and there doesn't seem to be any lag from what I've noticed so far. :) :) Also, I don't know if it was there before but I love the mod activation queue telling me that the mod is being unpacked and then the progress percentage...super helpful! :) Keep up the great work folks!! Thanks again!! :)

Make sure you do a full uninstall.  When the uninstall program asks you if you want to remove your settings etc say "yes".  Heres the steps I went thru in case it will help mods or users:

1)  Uninstalled NMM , said no to uninstalling settings

2)  Downloaded new NMM (0.53.2).  Installed, was told to install new net framework so installed that too.

3)  Ran NMM, no good.  Categories disappearing, lots of lag.

4)  Uninstalled NMM again.  Said "yes" to uninstalling user settings etc.

5)  Right clicked on NMM installer and choose "run as admin".

6)  Started NMM, went thru games check.  All good, working perfectly and still had all my user made categories.

I did a clean uninstall and install (per procedures on this thread) but whenever I try to install, uninstall or activate a mod it will give me an error log then crash.

With plugins, I'll attempt to deactivate.  It will say to restart NMM to show changes, but when I restart NMM, I'll notice that all plugins are still checked.   Whenever I try to uninstall a plugin, it will crash with no error log. No lag with either however.
