What will you create for a first mod?

    • The first moment I can put my hands on the new G.E.C.K.

Most first mods are personal mods, usually to add a few comforts/tweaks, before the bigger are started on. However, there are some that are planning out their mods for months already.

 

Depending on what will be there, I'll probably first create a player home or some enhancements for camps.

 

So what will be your first mod?

I have made quite a few mods with Fallout New Vegas ready state and first thing I will do to port them over. Also porting my favorite fallout3 mods into FNV. First thing will be the Interface, because it's really a pain to seriously play with the vanilla interface. Everything else can be covered later.

After a long time probably, since I'm probably going for something like a quest mod. And I don't want to accidentally spoil myself by looking through stuff in the GECK. :P

 

As for smaller mods, I don't think I'll have to create any. If there's anything really bothering me there's a good chance it bothered someone else too and that there is already a mod for it by then. :D

First id like to port over my Classic mods from FO 3, starting with the ones that are still not included, like YK42b Pulse Rifle etc.

After that move to my WH40k Mods (or some of them)/create try to re-create some other weapons and things from FO1/2/T.

 

One thing I want to make for about a year now (just never get around the weapon mods to actually do it) is Phoenix/Dermal Armor Implants from FO2, and since most of my mod ports will probably need to wait till new 3rd party tools are availible, theres a high possibility that will be my first NV mod. Given ofc if the new implant s in NV dont already have them :P

We all know....

 

1,000,000,000,000 of all kinds of ammo, stimpaks, and currency.

 

Or at least thats what I WOULD do, if it weren't for the fact that I cannot get it till oh...

After that? Maybe I can get Blender to work (working on that now) and can start doing a custom armor or something.

I'm gonna port over all my work. If nif's aren't doable until later start with place holders in the GECK for statics/weapons/armors/creatures. And work on music/sounds/ammo/level lists/and textures sets, as well as various smaller things. And like yossarian said other mods from FO3 ported over as well.

first of all i,m gonna play the game to the end (story line). 8)

when thats done i,m gonna look on the website for funny mods (like weapons,characters,houses and stuff) :thumbsup:

than i,m gonna explore the entire "wasteland" (if there is 1 cus i heard new vegas isn't nuked :nuke: ) :pinch: :confused:.

 

 

so... yeah that will be mine little road on new vegas :D
