Mod reccomendations for immersive skyrim playthrough

Dear residents of the Nexus forums,

 

I have been experimenting with mods in Skyrim for quite some time but I never seem to actually play the game anymore. Therefore I would to compose a list of skyrim enhancing mods that I will install for my next real playthrough of skyrim. It will be my first modded one!!! This list may also of course prove useful to any other relatively inexperienced modders who just want a list of compatible mods to install to make their next playthrough of the game as good as possible. I realise that there are similar lists out there but so far what I have seen does not include either the amount of mods, the compatibilty the particular game enhancing aspect that I have in mind or are somewhat dated.

 

The types of mods that I am looking for are basically anything that is lore friendly, fits in the game visually and is an improvement on the vanilla base and not necessarily a comeplete overhaul.

 

Graphical improvements like enb's and textures are welcome

Mods that improve the base game mechanics

Anything that improves immersion

Lore friendly additions of weapons and armor

Lore friendly quests

Improved animation

3dnpc, aka Interesting NPC's. Quite a lot of developed characters (some of them on the wordy side) and awesome quests, most of them better than the Vanilla standard. Leaves the vanilla stuff completely untouched.

This is really awesome everyone! I just recently started my own forum topic similar to this for my comeback into Skyrim.

I will check out all these mods as these are really cool.

 

This is a really hard task but what would be really cool if someone combined all of these mods into one big compatible list of lore friendly mods. I am not asking this of anyone but if someone who was more informed about mods could make it I would be eternally grateful. BlackRoseOfThorns has done an extremely long list of mods but I would really like to see a final list of all of the best mods for a play through.

 

I'm not putting this task upon anyone I am just saying it would be extremely cool.
