[Immersion]Battlefield Colours and Standards

"In military organizations, the practice of carrying colours, standards or guidons, both to act as a rallying point for troops and to mark the location of the commander, is thought to have originated in Ancient Egypt some 5,000 years ago. The Roman Empire also made battle standards a part of their vast armies. It was formalized in the armies of Europe in the High Middle Ages, with standards being emblazoned with the commander's coat of arms."

I'm playing a highly immersive roleplay playthrough right now on my main character using Civil War Overhaul, RnD, Frostfall, Loot Degradation, Simply Taxes(for troop upkeep) and medieval economy with trade and barters, trade routes and stuff. Now, I've recruited my own Half-Century using follower mods and decided I'd enjoy the role of Light Infantry, equipping them with Light Legion armor so as to give me a reason for freedom of movement in the battlefield instead of staying with the rest of the troops as required by the regular legionnaires. Unfortunately, the battles in Skyrim to me seem more like a mosh-pit brawl instead of formation fighting, so I was wondering if there was any way to solve the troops getting out of line by combining it with Standards and Battlefield Colours whose abilities may or may not include:

1) Making Faction NPCs guard or follow the NPC who carries an equipped standard or stay near them.

2) Make your Followers follow your standard instead if equipped or a follower that has this equipped may follow you instead or can be ordered to "Wait here", saving time for setting up the Followers instead of individually telling them all to Stay.

3) Can give some kind of fighting boost to nearby friendly NPCs like say + damage speed since standards inspire regiments, tribes and legions to fight harder to die protecting it.

4) Opposing standards that are captured can be sent back to your faction's headquarters where you will be rewarded for its capture with an Active Effect like "Battle Honour" or something that gives your followers a boost in something like morale which could be substituted with an ability like "Stamina Regen boost" for all followers which could last like say 3 in-game days

For the models, the Imperial Legion is easy since there are many references from the Roman Empire. Preferrably a bronze eagle on top would be great for the main standard with the Roman Numerals "IV" because Tullius commands the Fourth Legion. For the Stormcloaks(which learned from the Imperial Army)they too have them for they must maintain unit cohesion in the confusion of large battles. Blue banners or bear skin pelts mounted on top would be nice, though various Germanic tribes used many various standards from plain metal heads to decorative flags... Some even putting Human heads on them.

Maybe make some mini quest to go along with it as well if you see potential in expanding it because Colours and Standards were very important back then such as your faction choosing you to help return one of their units' lost Standards in a raid at a random enemy camp after you've returned your first captured standard.

Formations would be something I'd like to see and that I really hate watching factions swarm over each other. On top of that you could add a variety of banners such as that of archers or make a certain type of banner force some NPCs near it to use ranged attacks whilst the melee NPCs stand guard and attack anyone coming near. I also would like to see cavalries charging around. Skyrim may lack flat-lands in game (bad for cavalry) but it's scaled down to a size convenient for players.
