Alright, so all I need to know is how do I create a simple NPC that I can initiate a conversation, say something to him, and then have him say goodbye. I know this is an extremely simple request and if any links could be provided that would be helpful but I think if it could be explained thoroughly it would help me more. I know how to create a new NPC, place him in a cell but I just don't know where to start. I can't really figure out the difference between the topic and conversation tabs, and I do know that I'm supposed to use the linkto, and linkfrom options but it's all just jumbled up info from random tutorials I've read. I've used the search option, I've looked through tons of tutorials, gone through the GECK FAQ, and just generally copy and pasted other NPC's and tried to edit them.
