Help Me create hellonow's "Mai" Character.

Before a moderator comes down on me like a ton of bricks, if I have violated some aspect of my agreement here, I will gladly remove the offending portion of the content, however I would appreciate a warning before my thread was instantly locked.

 

I would like to point out that this should be perfectly fine. Skyrim is rated M for Mature, thus content like this should be perfectly fine, the game is made for people one year below legal adult status here in the US. As it is rated "17+"some may feel uncomfortable with this regardless. Consider this your warning.

 

Now that that's out of the way, I have a good idea about what body mesh was used with this character. However there are several details that elude me. The Hair. The body paint, The hair flowers/feathers, the leg holster, and the headband which may be part of the hair mesh.

If it was not obvious, I am not asking for sex mods, nude mods, etc. I am looking for the NON-ADULT features of this character. The ultimate goal is to get the reproduction of Mai to look EXACTLY like the original.

Why don't you just ask for the preset of whoever made that screenshot? In any case doesn't look like much was used, looks like a vanilla body with beautiful females by bella and freckle mania.

This character was created on another site and the interface for the website does not allow you to talk directly to other members until after a certain point. If this was the case I would ask hellonow, however it has proven unfruitful thus far.

Thanks, that vary well could be the face texture. However, there is still the question of Hair, tattoos, accessories etc. I would post full body pictures but I have a feeling that it would get the thread locked. If you look up hellonow Mai on google images then you can see the whole character, however I can only warn you that the results are NSFW, 18+ etc.

Well after some careful examination it appears to be nothing more than user error on my part in regards to being able to contact Mai's original creator. I am now able to them directly.

However, this does not mean that they will be wanting to give away a no doubt detailed list of modifications. I will keep the thread up to either continue looking for mods in the event that they don't want to tell, or in the event that they do I will gladly post the list here.

Don't know if the guy used a custom race but if you don't want to download one, the overall face structure looks like it can be made from the vanilla Nord race with minor tweaks in a modded racemenu:

 

- EyesType4 (that's what it's called in the creation kit; in my version of racemenu it's listed as "3" because for some reason it counts face parts starting at 0)

- shrunken irises + slight eye tilt + custom eye textures, not sure which one + maybe changes to eyelid heights

 

- custom eyebrows

 

- NoseType2 (in CK; "1" in my racemenu)

- smaller width + variable height

 

- LipType4 ("3" in racemenu)

- smaller width + either lower height or higher chin height

 

- smaller jaw width

 

If the person who made the character doesn't respond, hopefully this can get you started.

Thanks ThrillaWhale, I actually was able to get in touch with hellonow, we talked about making a standalone follower but she said that she would rather not, however I was able to get her load order. I have tried to filter out some of the mods that didn't have anything to do with character design, but there are still alot of things to take off the list. Here, she said that she didn't mind if people made a character that looked like her's just not to re-upload anything saying it was her's.

I'm so flattered that you like my character, Mai. She's my main character in Skyrim, and it's great that other people like her too! Ii'll happily share a list of some mods used, though if i'm being honest there are simply too many to remember! These are probably the main ones though...

First up, the female body I use is CBBE Bodyslide (my own personal edit). Same for body textures personal edit of CBBE base)

Mai's hair is the physics-based hair by XP32.

The above requires the HDT physics plugin, which also allows Mai's breasts to bounce and move realistically.

The face, I believe, uses these textures. Be warned: these are very old and there are likely alternatives you can find that look MUCH better. But I love these!

This is a typo. She doesn't want her character being uploaded PERIOD. If you want to make this character for your own playthrough, fine. As a follower for your own playthrough? go ahead. But do NOT upload the finished copy of her character.
