I'm pretty much a noob :sad: is the Geck where the data file is where all my other mods are? I see the NiptonRebuilt.esp file but it doesn't seem like i can do anything with it. Purr4me Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 apologies, the geck is short for the garden of creation kit, it is available only from the Bethesda web site as a download tool kit, it's an editor specially designed for the appropriate games. If your unaware of such things then my post fell on wasted space. You need to have some knowledge if your going to be modding the game, the geck is the formost important tool needing to be installed so you can edit the mods, or *.esp files. basically the error codes are result from an incorrect edit, a use of a tool like that of T-snip or a manually created assemblage of code from using tesedit. Things, many things come with modding the games. Moist posts I respond to is under an assumption that you may have the required knowledge....to assume any less can be taken as an insult..I bare on the side of caution and hope I get the point across...can't win them all but to try is better than not. you will need the geck to fix the problem correctly. kitty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
