Pau1adin Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 I honestly wish I knew how to mod this as a fun playthrough of Skyrim. Inspired by magic mods such as forgotten magic you first discover a magical lute that when played shoots out spells of varying degrees of destruction or illusion. You find scrolls throughout your travels with new songs to cast. I know it's just another method of being a magic user but seeing a custom animation of your character's hands lay down some power chords at enemies to me would be quite amusing. You could even make a quest at the bards college telling of this unique magical instrument. A bit too crazy? Is it even doable from a modders perspective? You can cast fury, calm and courage with spells already, which is the way a song would affect battle. Maybe use it as a staff and change the animation to use lute's ? He wanted someone to help him with adding animations to the lute that would play when the weapon was equipped but no one really found the project of interest.
