Male armor to female

Is it possible to make a female version of the armors made by FrankDema? I dont want to make it skimpy or anything, i just want to use it on female characters. What programs do i need to do it? What changes are needed to do it?

It's quite possible. You'd need a 3d package, such as Blender or 3ds max. Then do:

 

Unpack the .bsa files.

Import the female body (Or any body replacer mesh you want to use)

Fit it to the body.

Skin and rig it. (Youtube/google it.)

Export it.

 

You don't need to actually model anything unless you want to change the model for the female version. For pure proportional changes you just need to move stuff around, which takes little knowledge. The skinning and rigging part is another beast all together, and might take some practice. I know there are very good tutorials on rigging/skinning for skyrim on youtube!
