Profuscus Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) Ok, so I wasn't sure where to put this but I really, REALLY need help. http://gyazo.com/1dca768db5a690d88f6d77dca323d9ef These are my mods (at the top dragonborn.esm and dawnguard.esm are there as well you just can't see them.) I'm a total beginner at modding and at console codes so any help that can be provided would be much appreciated. I had continued my game from like level 2, on my way to riverwood. I get there, and I do the quest with camilla and I choose Faendal and I get him to follow me. He follows me, and I continue on the whiterun quests and blah blah blah.I kill the dragon, fast travel to whiterun, and i dismiss faendal. He leaves. I go to dragonsreach and the jarl grants me lydia as a housecarl, so I go talk to her. Problem is, she doesn't have a follow me option! Her only dialogues are "What does a housecarl do?" and "I'm a thane? What does that mean?" I teleported to Faendal, and talked to him, and now his only dialogue option is "can you train me to be better at archery?" so not only is he not my follower, but he can NEVER be my follower again! I reloaded a save all the way back from before I left bleak falls barrow, and I killed Faendal inside, and then continued the storyline, got Lydia again, and still no option! I tried lots of console commands like set playerfollowercount 0, addfac (although i might have done this one wrong), setrelationshiprank, etc, all suggestions that I found searching other help threads, and nothing worked! I tried selecting Lydia, doing ~disable and then enable. It didn't work. It seems like as of right now my only option left is to delete all my mods and start a new game, but I really don't want to do that. I don't know if this has anything to do with my mods, or if it's a glitch, or whatever it is, but I'd really like help. TBH, Lydia is not that important to me, but this glitch/bug/problem/whatever might affect all followers, I'm just not far enough in the game to tell. I'm going to try hiring a sellsword next to find out. Also, I used to have "Friendly Brynjolf" mod from Steam that makes it possible for Brynjolf to follow you/marry you, but after my first round of follower problems, I deleted it, but the issue persists. If you have any questions that you need me to answer in order to solve the problem, or if you, like, need a picture of my Skyrim Data folder or something, please just let me know. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: I went to the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun and I was able to hire Jenassa as a follower with no problems whatsoever.Despite this, it'd be nice to have a free follower, like Lydia, and I am still curious to know why it is not working, and whether or not my other housecarls will behave this way in the future. Also if she isn't at her 'home base' game spot yet wait 30 days for the game world cell to reset. You can reset the world game cell in the console too. I lowered mine to a setting of 180 for faster creature spawning cause I wasn't being challenged much anymore. but that is a side affect of removing the level cap of 86 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She never even became my follower at all, she never had the dialogue option. I returned to Dragonsreach many times to ask her, but still no dialogue option. I can try resetting the world game cell.
