Corrupted Saves in Player Created Interior

So I'm a beginner modder and I've been creating a fallout shelter interior using GECK. I can enter the interior space just fine through the exterior door and also exit to the the outside world and interact with objects I've placed within the cell but when I attempt to make a save within the cell and then load it, I'm informed by New Vegas that the save is corrupt and can't be loaded. This is strange because when I kill my player inside the cell, the game loads the autosave from entering the interior cell just fine but when I go to look at the autosave, New Vegas reports that that is corrupted as well. I am using multiple masters in GECK (all the DLC, base game, Project Nevada master files). Is there something I'm doing wrong or that I have forgotten to do in order to correct this deficiency?
