duffman9465 Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 Cleaning the mods has a chance at fixing the issue, but I wouldn't put total faith in it every time. If you still get the issue then just disable the mods causing the problem and try running the game. What I meant by reinstall is, purge your computer of just about anything to do with Skyrim. If you're using MO (Mod Organizer) then you should get rid of only the mods in the MO folder. Keep the downloads though. But uninstall Skyrim from Control Panel, go into your C: drive and see if the Steam folder is still there. If it is then delete it. Also delete the Skyrim stuff from Documents>My Games. Those aren't needed anymore. Then after just about all the stuff from Skyrim is purged from your computer, install it and go from there. But only do the reinstall option if you're completely sure that it's going to be "the only way." If you just can't figure out the problem through any other means, then reinstall.
