IDK what mod adds him, but there's an NPC named Tharsten the soul gem merchant who hangs around the Ragged Flagon. Apparently, he's got some skills.. I had started a new playthrough and I'm making my way through the Ratway to join the Thieves Guild. I get to where that little garden is with the axe sticking out of the stump and I hear, "Fus ro dah!!" It wasn't me. I procede to the next room with the door leading to the Flagon and I find a dead thug on the ground and Tharsten walking away. Since when do merchants know Unrelenting Force? heyiforgot Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Sounds like a good spot to share a funny little story I had occur on an early play-through. Spoilers for something that happens in whiterun if by some chance you haven't done this quest yet! So I ran into Saadia and she wanted me to kill the bad people who were after her. Me and the trusty dog went to the cave and found a bunch of other Redguards there who revealed that she was a collaborator with the thalmor. That Traitor! I knew what I had to do. Following Klematu's instructions, I met her at the inn and had her follow me outside the town. My good dog friend got stuck somewhere in town, but no matter, he'd catch up eventually I figured. I felt a little bad luring Saadia into the trap, she hadn't done me any real harm, but I knew traitors had to get what they deserved so I pressed on. We found Klematu and he was able to quickly paralyze her so she was thankfully subdued with no harm. And I felt even a little better when he told me that they would take her back to Hammerfell to face a trial. I was glad and my conscience was relieved. I hadn't just delivered her to vengeful assassins! so.... Just about this time, my perhaps overly loyal dog came around the corner. He sensed that me and Klematu had had a confrontation with the paralyzed lady on the ground, decided she was the enemy, and seized the opportunity to seize her by the neck and rip her throat out! HOLY CRAP! BAD DOG! but it was too little too late, Klematu was too stunned for words and just looked at me, probably wondering how he was going to explain this to the court back home. The dumb dog sat and looked at us both, looking very happy to have provided this service, seeming to expect a pat on the head or something. After a bit i just sort of backed away... I killed Serana (yes, THAT Serana) in a game that had NO mods...none at all...that would allow it. I was escorting her to Volkihar for the very first time and decided to explore a draugr dungeon on the way. Apparently (this is only a guess) I either hit her or her conjured frost atronach by mistake and she just flat-out LOST HER DANGED MIND! She absolutely would not stop attacking me no matter what I did, so I finally defended myself (thinking that once I knocked her into bleedout she might straighten up). Whalp, I didn't knock her into bleedout, I plain killed her...stone dead. I knew she was dead because I could loot her body and a resurrect corpse scroll brought her back. I looked at her for minute wondering just how I managed that, then I reloaded from my previous save. Since she was supposed to be essential, and considering that she's central to the entire Dragonborn DLC, I figured I'd just managed to royally break the the game. Everything went fine after the reload, and hasn't happened since with any other character. Ain't glitches FUN? P.S. Don't even get me started on the massive goat-rope trying to deliver a certain orc his 'good death' turned into...let's just say that it involved countless dead bandits, many dead animals, an intensely annoyed giant, and several unfortunate casualties outside Whiterun's main gate. strawbqwerty Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 A funny glitch with the followers live mod.I was using the pre translated version as the translated one was not yet out. So it was a bit of a guess as to how it all worked. Got one of my three followers sorted as the lead follower. Dam wench went and dismissed the other two and exited stage left her self.
