Too many dark colors at once, with few lights tends to strain the eyes. I myself use the caliSkinV6Red skin, and while I don't like the reds too much, it's probably the most easy on my eyes. Now, if there were a sea green version, I'm sure I'd like that better. I'm not sure who else would agree there, but it's not bad. I guess the skins are up to personal taste.
