Dragunov1010 Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Hi guys, I was wondering if there was something I could do to uncap the framerate in my loading screens. I get a solid 60 frames usually in gameplay; during the loading screen, it drops to somewhere around 30 and has not ever gone above this. This is the case on consoles, my other saves, and previous computer systems. Is there any file I might be able to modify to change this? Anything other than that? (For the record, I know this won't help load times or whatnot, I just like to have consistent frames per second) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cdcooley Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 No, frame rates are intentionally dropped there so the system can focus on loading game content. Increasing frame rates would mean longer load screen times. That seems like a silly tradeoff just to for consistent FPS to me so my recommendation is to turn off whatever program you're using to monitor FPS and just enjoy the game.
