LadyShadowOfDreams
In Skyrim, I am having an... shall we say... Issue. My female NPC's- base game, not added by mods, the ones added by mods are totally fine- have a majorly discolored head, and a very obvious neck seam. I'm including a couple of screenshots so you can see what I mean. I haven't seen it with male NPC's- but then, the only male in my game who I generally -can- see the the neck of is Faendal, who I've got modded. Edit: It -is- affecting my males now. Or at least Orgnar. The mods I have that coulde be effecting this:CBBE, with the face option activatedBetter MalesFine Face Textures For Men http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj251/saronda/ScreenShot7_zpsew7nmufv.pnghttp://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj251/saronda/ScreenShot10_zpsrpem6w3c.pngAnyone know how to fix this? firepower02
They must have left on the mudmask for too long.
vram1974
Yes, what you have is a classic mismatch of one mod overwriting the tintmask of another mod. There's a couple of ways to fix it. You can try and remove the mods that you think are overwriting the face tint of your NPCs. The other way requires a bit more knowledge and it potentially game-breaking but ultimately the best of both worlds. You fire up TES5Edit and edit the module file causing the problem. If you experience CTDs after editing the file then restore the .esp file saved in your TES5Edit backup folder.
