CTD in Whiterun City Proper

Hey, guys. I have a bit of a problem with CTDing in the city of Whiterun, and I need some help sorting out what exactly the problem is. I can coc to any interior in Whiterun, but leaving these interiors to enter the city streets results in a CTD. I can't enter from the front gates or any of the interior cells.

 

The only textures I have for Whiterun are 1k Amidianborn texes, so I'm not sure it's a memory issue, as I run around in the outside world with only a bit of lag at times. I do have an ENB installed (Seasons of Skyrim, latest version).

Any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated. I can coc to Dragonsreach for quests, so it's not that big of an issue, it's just quite annoying. :tongue:

Hi

This happened to me a long time ago. It was caused by mods that spawn in the city conflicting with other mods. Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2 plus another mod was the cause. To test this, wait for 3 days & try to go out side. This works if the cause is related to Immersive Creatures because its spawns are random. Sometimes thralls, sometimes death hounds. I don't know why the entire day gets messed by these night spawns up but they do.

 

I noticed that you use LunariRace & Ningheim. These 2 races can get buggy over time. Even follows based on these races can create lots of CTDs. The 2 old races I use for stability are the Temptress race & Milky Girl race. With the Milky Girls only the mage & worrier are usable & their old meshes & textures need to be replaced. The best experiences I have playing a mage as been with the Milky Girl mage.

 

I also recommend that you use Safety Load. It still gets me though all the doors Skyrim.
