Wait a full day, try to save, crash.

I'm playing a werewolf run. I wreck Windhelm. I exit the town. I revert form. I wait 24 hours. I try to save. The game throws me out by my hair.

I'm outside the town. I save. perfect

I wait 1 hour (now 11am in-game). It autosaves. I save. perfect.

I wait 2 hours (now 1am in-game). It autosaves. I save. perfect.

I wait 3 hours (now 4am in-game). It autosaves. As soon as I hit save, the game crashes.

I load the autosave (now 4am in-game). I try to wait 1 hour. The game crashes.

I wait 24 hours. I try to wait again right afterward. The game crashes.

If possible, go to a save before you went nuts in Windhelm and do it again (I know you want to any ways :devil: ). Then try again and see what happens.

This is an old problem, you can only overwrite the same auto or quicksave a couple of times before it crashes. Turn auto saving off in the menu and manually make a new save game every once in a while. Delete auto and quick saves that you no longer need.
