Another useful program is HWMon (Hardware monitor) which monitors ALL Thermals provided the part is capable of it. It shows the current Temp's, Minimum temp, and the Max and u can run it in the background to find out just how hot your parts are getting ( they cool off as soon as u alt-tab out of the program so if you try to monitor your gpu's heat on a ATi 5700 series card with catalyst and tab out it will most likely be off by 20* or more, which will be totally inaccurate) HWMon will tell you what the temp actually did hit.

NOTE: Parts that dont have a Tempurature sensor wont give you a readout. I.E if your Catalyst control center doesnt show you the heat of your gpu neither will this. These parts are low-grade imo.

Here is an example of just how much information HWMon can provide, provided your parts support it:

cpuz ... reminds me of the time i flashed a rx 460 hybrid bios w/ a custom hex edit to force the legacy bios to boot first. oops, my old motherboard doesn't support hybrid gbios, period. so my wise self said well lets just delete the second half of the bios and flash ... DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!!

i had another rig a foot away that supported the hybrid and uefi bios. not wanting to flush 80 usd down the toilet, i tried the paperclip trick of shorting the bios chip out on the VCC and gnd, 1 & 8 pin i believe ... didn't work.

still not ready to get rid of my old rig just yet. still confused about some of the Sapphire rx models that have the 'S' button. i can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. some state it's a switch for OC, others say it's a switch for uefi and legacy bios. the latter would be nice if someone could confirm it or another gpu that's > 512 MB and less than 125 W.
