Why hello there, dear reader. First of all I want to say I don't have a good PC as of yet(I'm gonna get one around Christmas) so I can't make mods. But I can however give the dear modders some ideas. So I'll get to it before you start screaming at Your screen: I was never satisfied with Skyrim's world. I mean I appreciate the mountains and the... snow... Oh and the... um... grass? That's really just it. I loved guild wars 2 because it had a huge, DIVERSE world. You see the key word there? No? Well it was: DIVERSE. It had deserts, jungles, forests, grasslands, swamps... It even had an underwater city. And yes, I do understand that it's Skyrim, and it's supposed to be cold and harsh and full of mountains, but I would like something more. That's why I would like to give the modders that we all know and love an idea: a completely new, big, diverse world. And yes, I do know that mods like these take months, even years to make. So I wanted to give the modders an idea, and if they don't like it, around christmas I'll start making the mod myself(after playing the crap out of skyrim) to enhance my and, hopefully, your experience with Skyrim. Thx for reading my 4 hour long post.

And btw soon I'll upload a windows paint(lol) map I made of my wished world map. Expect it in a couple of days(if enough people comment and respond)

And as we would say it in Croatia, Pozdrav.

You mean like beyond skyrim?

They are always looking for new modders. It seems you want to know level modding and landscape. You can join them when you have trust in your skills.

I would, but there is one problem: I think they only want to do the provinces in Tamriel, and I would like to make(as the title suggests) a whole new world. Thanks for the reply

There are plenty of New Land mods out there to explore like Falskaar, Wyrmstooth and Salem plus The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal and Moonpath To Elsweyr quest mods takes you to tons of new locations to explore. From what I've heard there is also a Black Marsh DLC sized mod in the works.

If you know how long this would take why are you suggesting it?

I am suggesting it because this could give modders ideas, because I'm pretty sure that the creators of Falskaar, The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal and all the other great big mods knew how long it would take, and they still did it. It's just a suggestion and I would still like to see a mod that makes you feel like you're in adifferent game, with different cities, NPCs, quests, lore, gods, kings, people, creatures, areas...

Anyway, thanks for the reply

I know about all of those mods, and they're great, but I have a problem, and that is making the perfect looking and feeling game, but I don't have the knowledge(or resources) for that, so I would like to make a mod.If You would like me to post a map I made of how I would like the area to look, I will gladly do it. Thanks for the reply

I just have to say that you are wrong about the diversity issue. Skyrim is diverse. Just because it is cold, doesn't mean that there isn't variety.

Rainforest - Check (The Rift (Riften))

Boreal Forest - Check (The Pale(Dawnstar) and Haafingar(Solitude))

Volcanic Wasteland - Check (Eastmarch (Windhelm))

Glaciers - Check (Winterhold)

Tundra Grasslands - Check (Whiterun)

Evergreen Forest - Check (Falkreath)

Canyonlands - Check (The Reach (markarth))

Marshlands - Check (Hjaalmarch (morthal))
