Game Crashing when entering buildings and towns

So, I've used BOSS to manually organize the load order and then checked it with FO3 Edit and no problems popped up there. Also checked it all with LOOT, still no problems. I can fast travel to places i.e. Megaton, but as soon as I try to enter a building or even Megaton from the wasteland, it crashes the game to windows. The game is stable enough and I've not experienced any problems just kicking about the wasteland, but as soon as I click on a door....

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can obviously post my load order if that helps, I've got 93 plug ins on the go right now.

Actually did Boss twice cause I'd heard that could happen. Beginning to lose the rag with it, might start a clean install and work through mod at a time.

Do you use the 4Gb patch? If not, you should it helps the game a lot memory wise when you have a lot of mods loaded, with it activated try to enter a building again and see if it crashes or not, if that doesn't help before entering the building open the console and type PCB followed by enter, then try to enter the building again.

Sorry for the late reply guys, broke my ankle, now got a screw and plate in it, could totally use getting this game to work cause I'll be on my arse for the next 6 weeks!

 

So, yeah, 4gb patch is definitely a go, as are the changes to the ini file which allow it to work with a multi core cpu.

 

I think I'll remove all all the unused plug ins as M48A5 recommended and then see how it goes. If i still get any jip I think i'll do a straight up clean install i.e. delete/uninstall all mods and the game then start over.

 

I'll try not to break another ankle before I get back to you guys.
