justuspickle Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 Basically, I haven't played skyrim on this computer for a while, NMM was acting weird and so was MO when I downloaded it, tried to start it up from steam and it brings up the launch menu like normal but with "install" instead of play. pressing install just brings up the launch menu again. The datafiles and options buttons are grayed out, though it says it's updating my steam mods. I have it installed in my secondary E: hard drive and I have all the DLCs. I have tried reinstalling it, then reinstalling it again after completely deleting the skyrim folder. I also tried running SkyrimLauncher.exe as an administrator to no avail. I just tried to restart steam and then run it again, but now it doesn't even get to the launch menu it just shows "preparing to launch skyrim", windows asks me if I want to let it run and then it just start over again at the "preparing to launch" window.
