First of all keep in mind that this new version is working as intended on our test PCs and for a lot of users.

With this version we changed the way NMM interacts with Gamebryo games to handle the plugin's load order and activation state: previously we were using external libraries to do so, we decided to switch to something made by us, cause when there were issues with those external libraries we couldn't do anything to fix it, save for waiting for a patch.

We also finally added a most wanted new system to handle in real time changes made to load order and activation state by external programs or manually by the user.

Bugs and issues are bound to be there, we will work hard to fix them, what will help us make a better NMM is you helping us with detailed reports; rolling back to older versions, ranting on the forums, writing "same issue" in someone else's post, won't help anyone.

There's been some reports of missing plugin entries and other unexpected behaviors using this new version, before opening a bug report please try to perform a clean NMM program install:

1> Take note of where your Mods and InstallInfo folders are located (for every game you manage through NMM).

2> Make double sure you know where the real Mods and InstallInfo folders you're currently using are located.

3> Uninstall NMM answering YES to remove config files when asked by the uninstaller.

4> Make sure the program folder has been completely removed (eg. C:\Program Files\Nexus Mod Manager ) .

5> Make double sure the program folder has been completely removed (this is to make sure some old dll files that could conflict with the new system are removed).

6> Reinstall the latest NMM version (currently 0.55.6).

7> Check if everything is now working as intended.

If you find any issues, please report them in the proper section so you can help us help you: http://forums.nexusm...ager-open-beta/ , be as detailed as you can, and check the plugins.txt and loadorder.txt files in C:\Users\{YourWindowsName}\AppData\Local\Skyrim (or whatever game you're using), check if you have 0 bytes files.

Version 0.55.3 should fix most of the issues people were experiencing.

This is not the proper place to report issues, you need to open a bug report here: http://forums.nexusm...ager-open-beta/
