I'm currently making a dremora follower mod and I've got troubles for the last one since I never created any custom meshes. I would like some advices. What I know about it :I already installed 3ds max 2014, nifskope and niftool, they're working so far.I'm learning 3ds basics on youtube and other tutorialsI extracted some meshesI know more or less how it workI know how to put new meshes/textures in CK and give them to an actorI would like to make chin spikes as showed below because they're part of Staff's chara-designhttp://40.media.tumblr.com/f052b4d512421fa2be64b91ca0d6e194/tumblr_npov8oqCMO1qk9kgvo1_1280.jpg So what I would like to get as advice to model them is :Should I import a helm + malehead.nif and then erase the head once finished ?Import a skeleton instead ?Can I past over nif data from the spikes to a helm once done ?It's been 2 weeks i'm making tries with blender // 3ds max and I kept some tutorials, a lot are about weapons.Sorry for my bad english.
