SkyUI doesn't work

So I downloaded SkyUI yesterday & installed it manually. Done everything right, had SKSE, all latest versions, should've worked as far as I know, started the game from the SKSE & went on through the opening scene & character creation (because it doesn't really matter at this point) & all the menu's are pure vanilla with nothing different, I can't even get SkyUI's mod configuration menu.
I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling manually several times, I downloaded NMM this morning & loaded it in & still the same story.
I have checked that it is checked in mod manager & the data files countless times & nothing.

If it makes any difference, these are the mods I have installed though I haven't progressed far enough to see if they're all working correctly:

 

 

Edit: Ok, so after playing the game I little bit more I found that the huntsman mod doesn't work, neither does the Exploding Chickens (just "chickens" in data file) & I don't think Enchanted Arsenal works either & a bad feeling about Unique Uniques.

Dance of Death, Magika Sabres & Batcave definitely work though

Got the same problem. Installed everything correctly (manually) and then I started Skyrim via SKSE and it still showed the vanilla User Interface.

Try reinstalling SKSE. Make sure you are using the 1.7.3 version - it is labeled a beta, but SkyUI requires it, and it's been out for long enough it can be considered stable.

If the SkyUI menus aren't showing then the resources from the SkyUI.bsa file aren't getting loaded by the game. Even without SKSE running you should see the SkyUI menu changes if SkyUI is really being loaded by the game.

Fixed it. I replaced the game so I had to change my installed path destination in my register.
