Purr4me Posted June 26, 2015 Share Posted June 26, 2015 Just try what I told you to do and see what happens and use a saved game prior to obtaining the armors.I know what the instructions said...and that was 2009...this is now and we have learned a great deal more from that point in time.I have to go out of town shortly but I'll be watching the thread, later, I'll upload a very simple example of light amplifcations...when you "Disect what I make" then you will understand why I ask to to do things. It is Better Power Armors which just gives stat bonuses to the power armors in game. It can be found here:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/117/?It's weird that this is happening, and the two mods that cause the level up freeze are both power armor related. Coincidence or not, I've not the slightest idea. I've given up on these two mods and uninstalled them, that way I can run the game fine without the level up freeze issue.The only fix that I can think of would be to delete all mod files, reinstall fallout 3, then just install the two mods that are giving the game the issue and run it to see if the problem still persists. As the title says, with this mod my game freezes after clicking "done" in the perk selection screen after leveling up, either using "advlevel" in the console or by gaining enough experience. According to this six year old post, this issue is not unique to me: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/121282-winterized-dx/. However, after uninstalling this mod, the vanilla Winterized T-51b now glows blindingly bright. Surely I'm not the only one with this problem when over 20k people have downloaded this mod. Any suggestions in fixing either issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for posting this. I was having the same problem and fixed it by removing the mod. I was getting the bright Winterized PA texture problem before this mod, which is what led me to install it. I don't use that PA in my game anyways, so no loss for me really.
