wardy94
hey So ive been installing some mods on skyrim and just installed project enb. I'm finding everything looks a bit crappy. I feel like things are blurred up close although there not really and the distant terrain and trees look like a bag of crap. I'm looking out from whiterun and my grass just stops and is replaced by ugly textures. Can't attach screenshots so without screenshots does anyone know how i can make it look nice? I can never get my ENBs to look the the screenshots either. I had realvision which i liked but some of the vegetation was bright green. Nothing like his screenshots. iraido
Well looking from Whiterun, ENB or not, terrain will be ugly. For Realvision, did you modify your .ini files and installed the required (not the recommended) like it's said in the description ? Yeah I modified all the ini settings I was supposed to. The trees receive shadows and stuff. The only mods on the realvision page are recommended not required. Although I've got most of the recommended mods anyway. I know that in general bethesda games don't have amazing draw distance but it's pretty bad. iraido
Well, Acually there's a big list of recommended but there's also a small list of REQUIRED mods to make it look like in the screenshots : Quote frome the RealVision Mod page : "[Required] Install these mods for RealVision to look as intended : Install in this order : Project Reality - Climates Of Tamriel by JJC71 (use all default settings and the Dawnguard and Dragonborn patches if using those DLCs)Supreme Storms for Climates of Tamriel by MannyGT (optional, but recommended)Climates of Tamriel - Weather Patch by prod80 (Install as shown here and here)ONLY activate Supreme Storms like second pic if you are using Supreme Storms!!! For the night level, decide by yourself, i'm recommending level 2 or 3.True Storms - Thunder and Rain Redone by fadingsignal (select CoT weather patch and if using also Supreme Storms patch during installation like here)(set Enable=false in [RAIN] section of enbseries.ini for True Storms own raintextures if you prefer it over ENB rain)Lightning during Thunder Storms by Minty (optional)Lightning during Thunder Storms - Climates of Tamriel - Patch by Minty (ONLY if using the main mod of course)"So maybe you just forgot to install these. I suspect this list of extra mods from RealVision may be your issue. OR possibly another mod or two in your load order, which is not posted :armscrossed: for us to see. CoT changes tundra grass...without something like LODGen or DynaDOLOD, your LODs will not match. As for the blurring, simply disable DOF (Depth of Field) in the InGame Editor for ENB (shift+enter, uncheck DOF under Effects). Bright Green vegetation: you can help remove some of that by lowering [Vegetation] subsurfacescattering settings in the InGame Editor for ENB. You may have to use the weather editor, if RealVision makes use of multiple weathers. As far as getting your game to look like screenshots...same here; I've NEVER gotten results equal to expectation from screenshots.
wardy94
Yeah didn't make that quite clear. I did first have realvision but switched to project enb because I didn't like the vegetation. I didn't have most of them mods installed when using it. I guess my main problem is with the draw distance. Trees are popping up near enough next to me when walking around outside whiterun. Can you post your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in spoilers for our perusal?
