Oyie, this latest bout of mods... what a doozy.

First and foremost:

----- I'm running an 8 core AMD BE, 16G RAM, 4GB 290X TriX on SSD. Not the system.

----- I have Skyrim, Hearthstone, Dawnguard, & Dragonborn. All legit. Paid on Steam.

----- 1.9.32.0.8 SKSE 1.7.2 Rel 47

----- Using: NMM 0.55.8 & LOOT v7

Problems:

1. Dawnguard: Not sure what is going on or why, but I've recently started the Dawnguard DLC because I've never actually played it. Long story. Anyways, I have Serana (follower-ish) with me and when we get to her father, Lord Harkon's Castle. Things get glitchy. She gets a bit jerky and once we're inside and the initial speech is finished with Harkon, he says he wants to turn me into a Vampire. Cool. Except not. I say, Sure- ditch the werewolf and turn me into a vamp ... ...and then he just stands there.

- All of the doors are locked. Stuck and forced to reload.

- Talking to him does nothing. No response.

- Getting close and looking at his face makes him back up. Lol. Not productive.

*****Trial 01:

I installed the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch. This APPARENTLY is a bad idea...?

It first gave me some messaging saying, Items are no longer in game that were before, Continue Loading? I said Yes.
It started me in Harkon's castle at the first door, the guy says HALT - and then they all freeze, except me.

Serana and all of the people in the castle are standing with their arms out to their sides and unmoving. Odd. Creepy.

Reloading to the shore does the same thing to Serana. Frozen without motion.

*****Trial 02:

Just uninstalled the Dawnguard Unofficial Patch and then tried the castle again.

Same as the original problem.

Said screw it. Tried to "Make her Wait" on the island and leave, Nope. She follows me everywhere.

Got into another quest and half-way through it, the game just straight crashed without any reason or issue.

----- I'm going to uninstall the Atlas Mod and Dawnguard texture pack, because those 3 I installed at the same time to figure out if one of them caused the crash outside of the UO Dawnguard Patch.

Uh, okay...

In the middle of the Imperial March, Quest: Battle for Fort Dunstad, around 10-5% of completion, the game is crashing.

----- I deactivated Atlas, Dawnguard UO Patch, and the DG Texture DLC.

What other mods are you using? Do you use FNIS or any other animation mods? When characters stand like that with their hands out to the sides, it means that they are trying to access an animation that doesn't exist. As far as the crashes...they are likely just caused by save bloating, and there is little that you can do about it. There are some ways to clean a save floating around the internet, but I don't know if they really work or not. I'm also fairly new to actually making mods and knowing about folder structure and how stuff works, so I may be completely wrong in everything I just said. Sorry I'm not a lot of help.

It sounds like you're scripts are getting stuck. You can try the Save Game Script Cleaner (which is what the above post was referring to), but I don't think that's going to help. You should only install the unoffical patches on a new game, as you found out. I don't know how many other mods you have installed, and I see you used LOOT, but this is likely a load-order issue (LOOT is a good starting point, but it often makes mistakes). Give this post a read, paying attention to the part on load order sorting and see if you have any luck.

Also, you should get Wrye Bash and take a look at your load order with that, if things are any color but green, you have a problem.

I'll look up Wrye Bash and give that a whirl. I appreciate your help.

I believe that I did run Dragon Script or something new for a later mod, but I ran for probably 6-9 hours without error.
