bLoadDebugInformation=1, the Case of the Baffling Papyrus Setting.

Let me give you some quick background information;

I follow the STEP guide, I have safe Skyrim.ini settings, I use LOOT, I use SKSE and the memory patch, I use Tes5Edit to clean the masters, create a Merge patch, I use WyreBash to create a bashed patch. Etc, etc.

My game was previously running fine. No mods were added or removed between the time of this error occurring: What did happen was that Steam updated itself and during the process accidentally booted up the internal Steam launcher, instead of running normally from my SKSE shortcut. Oh well. Steam attempts to auto-set settings etc, ruining my .ini files. That jerk -- whatever, I have backups. I toss my backs in to replace it. I double check my loaded mods to make sure nothing got accidentally activated -- nothing changed.

Now suddenly I will crash to desktop past the Bethesda logo.

However, if I enable bLoadDebugInformation=1 I will run fine.

I don't even need to turn logging on (bEnableLogging=0), as long as bLoadDebugInformation=1 toggled on the game will run as it did previously.

Can anyone Sherlock this mystery? This is one of the most baffling things I have ever come across.
